De la place publique aux espaces intérieurs
Longtemps, j’ai créé des images en m’impliquant dans des projets socioculturels et chorégraphiques.
Mes images prenaient place dans des lieux de vie et de passage, le temps d’une échappée artistique. Elles émergeaient dans des salles, dans la rue, dans des lieux de spectacle. Elles apparaissaient sur de grands plexis, sur des tissus flottant au vent, sur des écrans en fond de scène. Elles habitaient l’espace public qui, depuis toujours, m’habite.
Puis j’ai mené d’autres recherches, plus personnelles, jusqu’en Iran.
Mes images circulaient alors – et circulent encore – dans des ateliers d’écriture, offertes à l’imagination littéraire.
Désormais, me liant à la démarche de la peintre Maryam Imani, mes images sont appelées à prendre leur place dans des galeries d’art et, par là et à travers le monde, dans des intérieurs personnels et accueillants.
Les images passées se découvrent ainsi une seconde vie, les images qui naissent les rejoignent, toutes s’orientent vers un horizon de partage à la fois plus large et plus intime.

From the public square to interior spaces.
For a long time, I created images by getting involved in socio-cultural and choreographic projects.
My images were placed in places where people lived and passed through, for the time of an artistic escape. They emerged in theatres, on the street, in performance spaces. They appeared on large Plexiglas, on fabrics fluttering in the wind, on screens at the back of the stage. They inhabited the public space that has always inhabited me.
Then I did some more personal research, as far away as Iran.
My images then circulated - and still do - in writing workshops, offered up to the literary imagination.
Now, following in the footsteps of the painter Maryam Imani, my images are destined to take their place in art galleries and, from there and around the world, in personal and welcoming interiors.
In this way, past images are given a second life, and the images that are born join them, all moving towards a horizon of sharing that is both broader and more intimate.
